The host brings the first contestant to center stage where she is appraised, bid on and sold to the highest bidder. Frightened, Betty tries to get away as they bid not the next contestant, but is stopped by ominous bodyguards. Her disobedience provokes the host to auction her off next. The judges award Betty a low score, and the audience does not bid on her. Screaming for help from her parents, Betty is pulled behind the curtain and shot.
